I had forgotten how good these tires are.

I live in the PacNW and it rains here. Constantly.

It's such a wonderful feeling being able to pass everybody + dog around every corner, even when in the outside lane.

Good tread stagger when matched 215 and 245 on an AP1 as well. When sliding, they all four break at about the same pace and amount, resulting in some nifty slides without excessive oversteer (and zero understeer). Totally neutral.

I'm having a hard time keeping my foot out of the gas though. They never want to break traction in the rain, so I just keep giving it more and more.

It's nice to have decent tires again. Given my previous review of the General Exclaim UHPs, these tires remind me how much those other tires weren't worth even their ultra-low purchase price.

Should be interesting to see how they wear on my car. The Exclaims were on their way to wearing out by 12,000 miles.


Sure, there are better tires for people who never have to drive in the rain. However, as far as wet traction goes these tires are king (and by 'wet' I mean 'pouring rain + standing water on the road').
