Default I have the SSR GT1 18 inches, what is the widest tire size for the rear wheels (18x9)

I have 245/35-18 , my car is lower 1 inch with Eibach pro kit, I want to know if I can fit like 265/35/18 or something like that (rear wheel 18x9)
Thanks
Anthony

18x9's, and lowered one inch?

Less than +55mm...I would stick with 245/35/18.

255/35/18 with +55mm will rub if you take hard corners or hit a hump in the road.
But it won't cause critical damage to the tire structure. It will just sound bad.

Greater than +55mm and less than +60mm...255/35/18

If you got +65, 265/35/18's.

Do you know the backspace of the SSR (rear 18x9) of a S2000?
Thanks
Anthony

I do agree with Unicorn unless you roll the fender lip. At that point the 255/35R18 will work.

[B]PLYRS 3,

With 18x9 +55mm offset, I would run 255/35/18's also.
If your car is lowered 1.5 inches...you are on the boarderline of rubbing bud.
It really depends on how you drive and what tire brand you are running.

If you are running S03's or S02's...you will have a higher chance of rubbing than say if you are running 255/35/18 Toyo T1-S.

seriously, i drive my car pretty hard - especially in the twisties and turns (i'm not really a straight line kinda guy).

i was running S-03's with KG/MM race springs.....and say what you will, but i had NO rubbing....maybe every car is a little different???

i am now running the same offsets with the same tires but on 18" SSR Comps - same deal - NO rubbing.

mind you, i have somewhere in the vicinity of -3 degrees camber in the rear.....
Got any pics of the SSR Comps with KG/MM's?
