I hate black/dark wheels.
I know alot of people like them and have them on this board. I don't know if I'm just crazy, and how much of a minority opinion I am. I like brushed, or chrome, or any shiny wheel. I think they are butt ugly and make the car look less classy. I know many people feel they make the car look sporty but I think it looks ghetto.
Of course as I said I'm probably in the minority and if you are an owner with black wheels please don't take this as an attack. I am just expressing my views and curiosity.

I don't hate black wheels, but I don't love them either. Gunmetal wheels though, no those are gorgeous. Polished lip is a must, but I say no to polished center cap. Personally, I think chrome/shiny wheels belong on a luxury car, not an S2000(IMO). Right now my S2000 has just regular silver wheels while my Civic Si has gunmetal wheels.

Yea, those are mine, and I also love steelies. Chrome are too heavy and too bling bling, they seem more ghetto than black. I like the look of my dark wheels especially with our black top.

I need to clairify, I actually like the metallic/alloy wheels like the ssr gt1's and the OEM s2000 wheels. Wes, Like I said, I don't mean to insult. This is strictly my opinion and my curiousity. If I am offending people I'll gladly delete this thread in a heartbeat.

Wesmaster, I must say that your Avatar chick is absolutely beautiful, as is your S2000.
Black rims are vicious on every color body except black. And if the tires have painted lettering (ADVAN comes to mind), well, expect to be cleaning pecker snot off of your fenders!
