Default How to tell wheels can fit if lowered?

I am about to buy these wheels fom gotxbst hopefully tonight and wanted to know if I would be able to lower the car 2" :
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=397360

Here are the given specs:
245/35/ZR18 Rear 285/35/ZR18

I have not confirmed it but I believe these wheels are second-hand which is why the owner knows no other specs. The closest widths I have come to believ are 9" front and 10" rear. Neither of the owners have lowered the car so they wouldnt know how it would fit when lowered.
Gotxbst also says that the sticker inside the wheel which indicates the offset is not in there.

So how would I be able to tell if it is safe to lower as is with no drastic camber or fender modifications.

At that size and width I dont think you would be able to lower the car at all. 2" it will rub, unless they have some really high offsets.

I'm running a 255/40/17x8.5 (+54) rear and I am lowered about an inch and under hard cornering I rub a little.

this is odd to me. my wheels are +48's all around and i never rub, and i am lowered 1.5.

How high of an offset would the wheels have to be to fit my needs? The rears have no lip whatsoever and for an HRE wheel it is giving me the impression that the offset is prety high.

The most I would be willing to do would be to shave off the inner lip but I hope I dont even have to go that far.

With what size tires? Any camber adjustments?

My friend is running +44 lowered same as me with same size tires (225/45/17 FR 255/40/17 RR) and he rubs as well. I think with a stiffer spring or slight camber I would not rub at all.

For a 10" rear I'm thinking the offset would have to be in the mid to high 70's and 9" wheel would be +63 or so. (I think most of the people running non staggered are running +63 all the way around, but its a 17" wheel). Since you are running 18'
s it may be different.

this is a joke. fitment is untellable w/o offset

the offsets are stamped into the back of the spoke on every phoenix wheel (HRE)

the seller is full of crap scammer i think because he never made one attempt to turn the wheel over and post the specs.

the offsets are on the back

285/35 is about 1" too big

225/40 255/35 285/30 are proper size tires for s2k 25" diameter.

so

figure out the offsets.

buy new tires

and slam the mofuc.ker

Must be how you drive? I've rubbed a front 18x8 +50 at stock height with a 225 tire.

My wheels now are +60 fronts and +67 rears on my Kinesis and +55 front and +60 rear on my Ro_Ja customs. I don't rub now but I couldn't imagine running less offset. I'd rub like crazy.
