Default How much offset is too much?

Looking at a 17x8.5 +70 front and a 17x9.5 +50 rear. tires will be
235/255 might try and go 245 front. These wheels are for track use
and will be run with stock suspension. My questions are the typical
will it work. Is it possible to have too much offset?? I am not planning on rolling
fenders or neg camber. Lastly will this set up cause to much front grip??

Thanks
John

You need higher offset in the rear.

Make sure a +70 will clear everything on the inside.

With an offset that high and only 17" wheels...you need to check front clearance with suspension pieces at full droop / compression and full wheel lock.

That is a very high offset in the front. I am not sure why you would want or need this much offset in the front. You are not going to improve performance with all of the tire stuffed under the car.

Since you already plan on running negative camber and rolling your rear fender, you can run a 255 under there with just enough rooom.

You'll probably get some inside tire rub on full-lock turns. check the a-arm and shock clearance too...
