my rear tires is about to give out soon so I'm looking to buy a new set. But there is something I like to know before the purchase.

1. Do I have to buy them at the dealership because I heard that these potenza are supposedly design "specifically" for the s2000
2. will the CR real tires fit my AP2V2 rim?
3. my rear tires are almost bald, but my front have about 50-60 percent of the tread left, so if I replace the rear does that mean I have to replace the front as well?
4. Are potenza the only tire for the s2000 or there are better alternative?

 

1. Tire rack and everyone else sells them, but there are tons better models of tires for CHEAPER!!!!

2. Yes, they will fit.

3. 99% of folks recommend you have matching fronts and backs. But no one is gonna tell you it's 100% OK to run mismatched tires. Well, maybe someone will...

4. Dood, you are gonna get flamed for not searching. There are tons better and CHEAPER. So do a search, it's nice to learn something new too.
