Default Help with wheel size with rear overfender and front fender

Hi, I just installed a +25mm Front Fender and a ASM rear over fender, I want to buy a new set of wheels but not sure what size will fit to the front because a friend borrow me a set of 18x9.5 +35mm, rear fits ok and have plenty space, but front is too wide. I'm not sure what size will perfect fit. I looked all around forum but each time I search I'm getting more confused. btw I already bought 265-35-18 wheels.

Also want to know if is important to buy the front cambers to adjust negative setup.

I would like non staggered 18x9.5. Any suggestion is ok.

Thanks in advance.

BTW most people buy their wheels first and then fit tires to them. But moving right along.

I have Downforce over fenders in the front that are 30mm+ and run 18X9.5 +40 and mine fit great with 255 tires. So your wheel sticks out 5mm more, your fender is 5mm shorter and your tire is 5 mm wider(one side). So you are a little over a half inch from making it. If you went to a +45 and/or run a 9" wheel instead of a 9.5" you will fit just fine, however since you already bought tires that are very wide for a 9" wheel you need to stay with the 9.5", so try a +45 wheel.

I think you meant to say you already bought 265-35-18 tires not wheels. BTW most people buy their wheels first and then fit tires to them.

borrow me = lent

Thank you Dagou, I bought the tires first because cost me 50usd each one, hahaha. So I should buy 18x9.5 +30 or +22will also fit?.
Front 18x9.5+45 with 265/35 should fit "ok". I want to buy ZE40 or ce28n, and sorry for my bad english.

Btw DaGou, did you cut your dust cover when you installed your downforce over fenders?

You are going the wrong way with the offset. If the 18x9.5 +35 were to much for the front you need a higher offset not a lower one. 18x9.5 +45 would be a better choice for the front and 18x9.5 +35 or +35 would work for the rear. It is worth mentioning that them "fitting" will depend on camber, ride height etc. so those are all things you will need to look at.

The 265 is by no means an ideal tire size. I am a little worried at the quality of tire you got for $50 a piece since I rather pay more for high quality 255 than less for a crappy 265. Nothing will effect the ride and handling more than your tire choice. The 265 is also taller than stock and not really fully used on the 9.5 inch wide wheel. So anyways um good luck?

I commend you for English being your second language. As Manga said a lot of things make up a fit. Not only mechanical stuff but your opinion of it fitting. Some bump, scrape and drag, but they like how it looks so to them it "fits".

I told you what fits for me, +40. You never said why they do not fit or rather buy how much they do not fit. If they miss by 10mm then you have to get 10 mm from somewhere, offset or wheel width. Also if you are too wide with too much offset you can start hitting on the inside. It is a balance my friend.

And yes if you mean inner fender when you say dust cover I cut it, or lets say trimmed it.

Those are Dunlop new tires, he bought it incorrectly, so he sold them to me. btw Manga which front camber do you suggest me to buy? should I buy front and rear?

Tomorrow I will try a set of advan and take pictures before and after and post it here.

how many inches you trimmed it? I think I need to do that also. I will buy +45 to front to be sure and don't have problems. anyways I will buy spacers.

You don't need aftermarket camber arms, there is plenty of adjustment stock for both front and rear.

Thank you nate for the info.

Here are some pictures. the wheels that I tested was 18x9 +30

Now I'm confuse choosing between 17 or 18.
