Default help on wheel situation

i dont wanna lower an s2000 but i want a set of big wheels that arent going to look out of proportion ...you know what i mean ..the average civic with 17 or 18in wheels thats not lowered is either jacked up in the air or the wheel well gap is huge ..so please if anyone has an s2000 with 18 or 19 inch wheels that isnt lowered and looks proportional right please help me....thank you

If you use the correct size tire you won't have anymore gap than you do with the 16" wheels and tires. It can appear that you do because you don't have as much sidewall but it will be the same as you have now. I have sold many sets of wheels for the car without it being lowered. Take a look at the ASA FR1 if you want a nice look on the car in a light, strong wheel.
