HELP ON WHEEL FITMENT MODIFICATIONS
Hello Everyone, im after some information about modifications which might be required if i fit these wheels to my honda s2000 2004 reg AP2 (standard) the wheel info is as follows:-
BBS LM's
18x8 ET50 with tyres 225/40/18
18x9.5 ET55 with tyres 245/40/18
im looking to buy these wheels but i just want to make sure that they will fit without any modifications as i would like to keep the car standard, ive tried ringing around various wheel specialists but its hard to get a straight answer on what will fit and what wont as the offset is awkward size.
hopefully someone on the site might have some experience of fitting wheels to the s2000 or possibly already have this size wheel on.

The offsets should be fine. That's only 5mm less in the front and 10mm rear. The tire sizes would be off with the same aspect ration front and rear as this would make the rears much taller than the fronts.

They will fit. But I would change that rear tire to a 245/35r18. You might have to do a slight roll with the 18x9.5 in the rear depending on how low you are. But the fronts will be fine.

Should be able to go 255/35-18 for the rears. Might need a little camber...
255 would be a much better fit on 9.5" wheels, and would be the same diameter as 225/40-18 fronts.
245/35's would be .3" shorter than 225/40s, and would also be somewhat stretched on a 9.5" wheel, which would give you a noticeable "big fronts/little rears" look. Ewwww...
