Default Help on wheel fitment?

I want to run 18 by 8.5 with a 45 offset and a 18 by 10 with a 45 offset. What do you guys think about that?

I guess if you keep bumping it, sooner or later, someone will come along and tell you what you want to hear. It may not be right, but I'm sure you'll like it better.

OK I'll give it a shot. . . if you run really skinny tires like some of the vw guys do you may be able to make it kind of work. Like we are talking 215 and 245 if you stay at stock height or higher. Not saying it would be safe because those tire sizes are not within the recommended range of your rim widths though.

You can actually get a lot of extra room in the rear if you roll the fenders so that might be do-able. BUT, your front is going to be sticking out and rubbing a lot with a rim that wide no matter how much rolling or negative camber you add. Perhaps if you run a set of J's wide fenders.

But why? Moral of the story is unless you are ready to molest your cars fenders it's not happening.

Precisely. A 215 tire and a 245 tire will not fit well on a 8.5" and 10" rim, respectively. The sidewalls and beads will be stretched abnormally.

Those are perfect S2000 sizes. No rubbing at all, really. Don't listen to these sucka's. Be a man and go at it!

I was wondering what the offset of the GP sports s2000 with the SSR professors is running? I believe that is not a conservative offset.

the gp sports s2k runs a 18x9.5 rear +43 offset with 225 tires.. in order to run the sizes you have listed you need to run a minimum of 2.2 degrees camber. you can run up to a 255 width rear but you have to roll the rear fenders. someone on this site is already running this size and offset...I my self am running a 18x9+34 offset with 255 tires so goodluck to you

Thank you Sinji. I don't mind modifying the fender. Anyone else with info I can use?
