hi, this goes out to tirerack or mingster or anyone else who knows their wheel offsets,sizing,tires. i went to a shop down here in the walnut area, called AK1 motorsports. They said they could get me the VOLK GTPs in 18s for $2650. they said 18.75 in fronts and 18.85 in the back. i was wondering what the correct offsets would be with those wheel widths and what the correct tire sizes should be if i decide to get them there? BTW they said nitto nt-555s. i consider this to be a great price since wheel warehouse in anaheim was quoting me 3200 for se37s.

Well, when I was shopping for the thoughs wheels about a month ago. The only sizes the Mackin suggested for S2000's were 18x7.5 with +48 and 18x8 with +50. The 18x8.5 wasn't offered at the correct offset. Maybe now they do. I think the correct offset should be (if offered) is +48 to +52 for the front with 7.5 width and +53 to +59 for the rear with 8.5 width. Although alot of people are using TE37's 18x8.5 +50 offset for the rear with no problems, I guess it depends on the wheel. I'm pretty sure that anything less than +50 offset for 8.5 width will not work! Unless you want the wheel to stick-out alittle and possibly rub. Also it depends if your car is lowered or not.
