Default Help with tires (jim?)

I think I'm going to order a set of Volk LE28N'S in 18" (8.5, and 7.5). Could you give me a rec on a tire (size/brand etc.) that would work with that setup? I'm looking to stay relatively inexpensive. Thanx alot!

How about BF Goodrich G-force? 255/40/18 rear, and 235/40/18 front? Opinions?

You will probably want to go with a 225/40 front and 245/35 rear because your selections are too tall IMO. However the rear selection gets very narrow. You could go to a 255/35 or better would be 255/30 but that is very limited. 18" is tough when it comes to tires on the S.

if your going to lower your car go with 215/40 and 245/35, this should reduce rubbing issues.

Bingo! Go for the new Toyo T1-r 225/40 (common) but they also have 245/35 and 255/35 rears so you can take your pick. They are new and are replacing the T1-s that was a good tire and these are supposed to be better so these are what I would choose.

the 235/40 fronts probably wouldn't play nice with your fenders. i'm not sure the 255's would clear either. some people rub, some don't. are you going to drop the car? if so u should look at skinnier tire widths for 18 inch rims. i'd say go for 17's and get wider tires but to each his own.

the le28n is a good choice tho.. much better than the RH's u were lookin at

It would depend on what the offsets of the wheels are. Let me know and I can make a better recommendation.
