yea i would but I dont track or anything. the info ppl gave on wet handling is the tires are great for it as is for dry.
littlerocket777's comments are valid regardless of whether you track or not. Handling isn't just a track thing. It matters on the street as well.

cuz no one is giving me that final answer so i can order the tires.
That's not a valid reason for posting 4 identical threads.

with all previosly posted tire size advise,

I'd also like to reccomend the you use the same kind of tires all around (I mean same make and model) It makes a big difference especially in the wet IMO

Goodluck!!

I've got an idea, buy OEM RE050, and you won't have any problems. I find it hard to believe your car is 3" lower than stock. If it is why in the world would you want the car that low?

I have RE01R's 215 front/255 rear. I'm going back to stock. I don't like how the car handles with the wider tires upfront. It's hard to explain, but the additional understeer makes the car feel heavy. At limit handling is probably better, but who approaches the limit in the street? Also keep in mind wider tires are heavier.

they were ok tires. gotta be honest, once you hit about 80 and plus the car seems to be not as grounded as other tires. I don't know how to explain it but it feels like its very unstable/whobbly.

the front tires are still going strong but the back haven't. I changed them twice, and the lsat time I did was about 18 months ago prob? maybe 10k's miles? not sure to be honest cuz I avg only like 6ks miles a year on the car.

I went with 255 40 17 in the back.

Yeah, I want to go same tires all around but the front just has too much tread life on it. Almost 75% life left.

I dont want to spend 800 on tires. Just too much for something that wont last more then 8ks miles.

Why do you find that hard to believe? And I like the look of a car when its low I dont like tire gaps btw the fenders.

You may want to check the toe settings on your alignment. Toe out in the rear can give that unstable feeling you're describing.

IMO, you're making a mistake mixing tire compounds. Be extremely careful on variable surfaces (wet to dry), as the relative grip front to rear can change in an instant with different tires on each axle.

Lol how can you mod your car and not know that? Did you get an allignment done with you lowered it? You need to anytime you lower it. Even if your toe is off a little, it'll make it unstable. Imagine your wheels are pigeon toed when your toes pointing in or outwards. That means you're dragging tire and it'll eat through your tires super fast. Not to mention giving you crappy handling. Evasive does it for like 90 bux. Its not terribly expensive. I've heard of it being as low as 50.
