Thumbs down HELP! Tire fitment on 17x7.5 17x8 Autox'r

Hello i need some help on decided which of the below tires i should run on my wheels. Below are the only sized available to me in Toyo R1R's. I autocross my car and do not mind rolling my fenders to make these fit. I currently have Tien S-tech lowering springs (for now until i figure out which coilover set up to go with ).

These are the only sizes available to me but i will still take your suggestions on what you think is the best set up for my ride. Thanks.

Thinking of running 235/40/R17 on the front and 245/35/R17 on the rear.....anyone running similar on a 17x7.5 17x8 wheel?

The problem with that is your front diameter will be quite a bit larger than the rear. A 245/40 would be ideal for the rear if you can find it.

245/35/17 is a really small diameter tire, I would probably not run that.

Do you have to run on R1Rs? You can get Star Specs in a 225 and 245 fitment and they are a superior tire to the R1R for autox anyway.

Well i have actually been looking at the star specs but was trying to avoid the hassle of shipping tires. Was mainly trying to see what was available to me in my area. I think i will call tire rack today or pm them and ask them some assistance in getting some Z1 shipped to me. im looking at 225/45ZR17 and 245/45ZR17 with a +40 offset on the rear i am just trying to figure out if it will stick out ridiculously and ill have to roll my fenders after the 1.5inch drop on the springs. What do you think?

8" +40 (+45 is the common RPF1 offset that you probably have) won't stick out in the rear at all. I doubt you will even have to roll your fenders. I'd get OEM AP2 sizes if you order, 215/45 and 245/40.
