It says you guys are sold out of Kumho MX's for 2001 S2000's, when do you guys expect to get some in?

I started to read the sticky about the proper non-OEM tires, but what do you suggest for the MX's? I am staying with the stock wheels for now, but I would like to get as much of a contact patch as possible without being detrimental at the same time.

The only thing available is the OE sizes. They will work but they will be narrower in the rear than stock. The rear 225/50R16 is on back oreder with no date currently.

Would the Kumho's really be noticably smaller than the OEM's? According to tirerack's website the section width on the 225/50/16 MX is 9.3 vs 9.2 for the OEM S2000 rear.

 

Unfortunately Kumho does not list the tread width of the tires. My guess is they are going to be narrower than the OE S02. They are a very good handling tire but I would say not quite as good as the S02. The 225/50R16 is on back order currently with no due date so it will be at least 4 to 6 weeks.

Yeah, Unfortunately I found that out Wednesday when i went to order them from y'all. After checking 5 or 6 different websites I found one merchant that had them in stock, and only had 4 at that, so I grabbed two of them thankfully. Just in time for the autocross the weekend after this.
