Default Help! - I need your help with new rims...

I am about ready to give up. I purchased a '02 Sebring Silver about a month ago, and want to put new rims on it.

However, if I see a rim I like, the offset isn't right, or does not come in the right size. I am interested in a 17" or 18" rim, but have not had much luck in finding something that works for me. I need suggestions of what type of wheel I can use.

What is the correct offset for 17" and 18" rims? What is the correct tire size for each?
Can anyone post make/model/size/offset of the rim the currently have. If you have any pictures, that would be helpful too!

Thanks!

Rick

On the offset question check here: https://www.s2ki.com/article/articleview/20/1/10/
For a pretty thorough list of wheels check here: http://s2000.byteserve.com.au/wheeloptions/
As you have already found out, there are not very many wheels that meet the specs. I'm not sure about 18", but some of the more popular 17" are Volk CE-28n, Work Meister S2R, and Mugen MF-10. Each are carried by sponsors of the site. They also carry other wheels as well.
For the Mugen: http://www.kingmotorsports.com/products/mu...000/wheels.html
For others check out: http://www.bulletproofautomotive.com/ , or http://www.importdevelopment.net/index.php , of course http://www.tirerack.com/index.jsp , and the other sponsors as well.
One other thing which I'm sure you'll hear often- Give the search feature a try. You'll be able to find other wheels, pictures, and lots of opinions. Welcome to the board.

Are you planning to lower your car?
If not, you can open up to alittle more selections.

Yes, it's very tough to find something you like for the S. It took me over 6 months before I decided on the wheels.
You have to think of soooo many aspects....size, width, OFFSET, weight, looks, integrity, PRICE and performance!
What I mean by performance is you don't want to be putting 18x10.5's with 285/30 wheels on the rear and thinking you're going to maintain same stock acceleration!
Good luck!

My choice is down below in my sig...
