Needing new tires for my new wheels on the way. I have 17x9 +44 cr-kai's coming in.
I am going to run 225/45 up front and 255/40 in the rear with them.

I have had HTRZ3's before and have thought they were pretty good for the money.
Recently have S drives but haven't noticed how they are since it has been winter and haven't pushed them.

And then I have seen the ventus V12 for good prices and heard good things

Any recommendations as to which would be a better over all tire? Don't track my car but do drive in the rain.

All are around the same price with the S drives an additional $20 or so a tire.

Kumho Ecsta SPT is also on a special on tire rack for $125 a tire for the rears and probably less for the fronts but haven't checked front prices yet.

The V12 would be the handling of those tires. Car and Driver rated the tire number two in a test that was conducted here.
