Default Hankook Ventus V12 Evo (K110)?

Hey looking to buy some Hankook Ventus V12 Evo (K110) to go on my ap2v1s. Are these pretty good tires? And what tire sizes would you recommend (I'm looking for a pretty wide setup but lemme know what you think).

Thanks

Yeah, these are really good tires, especially for the price. You won't quite get the 'at the limit' performance of an extreme performance tire, but then again you won't get the bone jarring ride and short treadlife either.

For a "wide" setup on OEM 17" wheels, I'd recommend:
225/45/17 for the front
255/40/17 for the rear

Don't you mean 225/45-17 up front? Won't the 225/40 255/40 mess up the VSA. Plus I don't think Hankook makes a 225/40-17 in the Ventus V12 Evo (K110).

Just bought a set in AP1 specs last month. For the short time I had on them (clutch went out two weeks ago) they felt fine for daily tires. The first few hundred miles aren't a very good representation of what they will feel like in the long run though. Got a killer deal on them from Tire Rack with the $80 rebate they were running though!

I have them on my Ap2 and they are great. Very comfortable but still very grippy. You will be happy with them.

How would you compare them to the OEM RE050?
