Hankook Ventus R-S2 vs. Toyo Proxes T1-R
I've done research after research after research on the T1-R( the new T1-S) but I have NEVER seen these two tires compared...
I previously owned hankooks (not this tire model though) and I loved them... I also owned Toyo Proxy 4's and I loved them as well.
Which tire would you guys say is the BEST all around. I'm mainly looking for dry traction but wet is important for those random rainy days...
Hankook Ventus R-S2 Z212 ~ $245 Shipped
or
Toyo Proxes T1-R ~ $275 Shipped
These tires HAVE to be a 245/45 16 so that in itself has narrowed my choices down to these too. I'd like to keep it under $300 so these are about ALL you're gunna find in that category.

my personal experience with the RS2 has been positive for the 4-5000 miles of ownership. decent wet traction has long as you don't drive like a maniac.
dry traction is excellent, but feels a bit wobbly or 'loose'. probably due to softer sidewalls, but anywho...i don't think you can beat it for the price anyways. toyo's typically have stiffer side walls so i guess it really depends on your driving habit, purpose for these tires etc.
i had toyo fz4 before and hated them. the only other toyo i'd ever consider putting on my car would be the t1s, but i dont' think it would withstand my driving habits. what front tires do you have?

Get the Fuzion ZRi 45/45/16
For two 245/45 16 ZRi's it's only $200 shipped, so it's around $45-75 off... But are these better tires?
