This weekend, while out for a drive in the S2K, I drove over some sort of "Road Shrapnel". It completely shredded both of my rear, nearly new Bridgestone Protenza RE050's. To make matters worse, not one tire shop near me stocks this tire. They all inform me that I will need to wait a week to receive them. Since the S is my daily driver, it will be impossible to wait a week.

Pep Boys carry a Hancook Ventus HRII tire that they claim will fit the S. I have never heard of these tires. Has anyone had any good/bad experience with these tires? If so, will they do the job as well as the Bridgestones 050's?
