Default Got new wheels but don't like how they look

Hello I recently got some Works XD9s. Sizes are front 17x8.5 +44 (225/45/17) and rear 17x9.5 +42 (255/40/17). I dont like the way it looks and the car bottoms out over bumps. I know that I have to roll my fenders but I really dont want to do that. Any opinion on what I should/can do to make this work without any fender rolling? Smaller tires? Thank you.

bottoms out or rubs? if it rubs theres nothing u can do unless u camber it in more. judging from ur ride hight u wont be able to get that much -camber. so without rolling fender u are pretty much sol.

You should have done more research. These wheels just don't fit very well. Sure, you could run skinny tires, but why kill the performance on a car like this just for a little wheel bling?

IMO, wheels come secondary to tires in importance. No way would I sacrifice the latter for the former.

LMAO, if you didnt want to roll fenders, why buy such aggressive wheels? FAIL for not researching..

^^^this.

More camber + [maybe] skinnier tires, AND you'll need to trim the rear fender lip. Damn s0n...you should have repainted your rear bumper instead.

Yep roll all around (maybe even slight pull) + camber to get those to fit better. Those are aggressive sizes for the S.

Also, you mean rubbing not bottoming out.

Lower it another .5 inch, your car will automatically gain more camber, take it to an alignment shop and have it MAXd out, your wheels will fit better.

If you are still rubbing, if your struts are adjustable, set rebound one click stiffer, then try going up a driveway, if you are STILL rubbing...

Take a heat gun to all of your fenders and start rolling them with a baseball bat. In the rear, cut the part of the fender that connects to the rear bumper with a box opener and stick the bumper plug further down.

Good luck!

Please DO NOT do this!!

If you're going to roll your fenders, do it the right way....rent a fender roller or pay someone to do it correctly.

Aggressive wheels like this only work when on a lowered car, rolled fenders, and decent amount of negative camber. If you are willing to do the previous steps then they will come out really nice.

Sell them and buy my PAIR of 17x9 SSR Type-C's....+55 offset. I can locate the front wheels. No fender rolling required.
