I have been to 3 auto crosses so far with this setup and it does not rub on my non rolled rear fenders. It's very close but it does not rub. If I was lowered it would probably rub a little.

Pic does not look right at all. The car is jacked up for some reason, and it isn't the larger diameter tires. Super-tall tires should also fill the gap, but your gap looks bigger than stock! Any chance you tightened the suspension bushings with the rear wheels at full droop? Something looks wrong... FWIW, when I went to 275/35-18 tires on the FD (same diameter as yours), the effect on rear ride height was not visually noticeable. The visual effect of the ~1/4" higher ride height is canceled by ~1/4" more "gap-filling".

245/40-17 fronts, 275/35-18 rears

Maybe, someday out of necessity if the 295/35/17 just cant be had anymore. Time will tell. It would be pretty sick I hate the fact that the overall diameter is as large as it is though. Same as 275/40. I fear with that extra sidewall coupled with the added width/G forces, that the sharp handling is going to deteriorate to unpleasant levels. 18" would really be warranted at this level. I can only get away with the 295/35/17 odd ball because its the same effective diameter as a 255/40, and that’s why I chose to ran it initially, as well as the tire option it came in.

More pictures? I posted a hell of a lot of pictures of these wheels already. What kind of more pics can u possibly want? I have been rolling on these wheels for over a year now without any problems. I'm going to get some 275/40/17 Mickey Thomson drag radials for these wheels and make these my drag rims and I'm going to run my widen 17x11.5 rpf1's for the street.
