Default Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 - any one running these yet?

Well, winter is closing in here in Northern England and my spare rims are needing some high performance all weather tyres. The OEM Bridgestones did quite well last year but I am noticing they are loosing their grip in the cold and wet we are suffering at the minute and figure I may as well take the plunge for some tyres better suited to the wet.

A lot of the UK guys rate the old GSD2 F1 tyres highly but they are now superceded by the GSD3 - has anyone experinced them on the S2000 yet? Failing that I'm open to alternatives.... price isn't an issue.

Thanks,

Tif

I replaced my OEM So2's with Bridgestone RE 711. I don't know if they available in US. I used 205/55 fronts & 225/50 rears and the grip level, particularily in the wet , is much better tha the SO2. The car is much better balanced front to rear, & has improved turn in to corners. Traction is just as good as OEM in dry, better in wet.
I think the OEM overrated!
