Good tire sizes? 18" x 10.5" , 18" x 8.5"
I have a set of wheels with the following sizes 18" x 10.5" and 8.5" with normal safe offsets. I wanted to know what tire sizes I should get. Im not going to track the car so I dont necessarily need the widest but I want something that doesnt have a thick profile, will maintain OEM AP1 overall tire/wheel diameter, and most importantly allow me to lower the car 2" all around. I might be going with the BF Goodrich ta kdw (with the flam tread) since it has good reviews and will last me a while.
Any help would be appreicated.

To be as close as possible to the stock circumference:
Front 245/35, 255/35, 265/35, 275/30, 285/30
Rear 265/30, 275/30, 285/30
The closest possible is 245/35 front, and 285/30 rear. Assuming my math is right.

Trivium, the tire sizes I gave are for the closest aspect ratio for a given section width to the circumference of the AP1 stockers. I'm sorry but I can't speak for their fitment on the car itself. To keep a similar circumference to stock, which was something you asked for earlier, a 225 front should be a 225/40 and the rear 265/30. People run similar widths to what you are suggesting so they should fit but don't take my word on that part. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than myself will chime in.

You are correct, nobody seems to make a 265/30 for an 18" rim. I thought it was Porsche OE for the rear but that is apparently the 265/35 you suggest my mistake. I only brought it up again because you asked. Along the same lines, if you go with the 225/40 as opposed to the 225/35 over at the Tire Rack you get a alot more choices because that is Porsche OE sized as well. It is also a better match for the circumference of the AP1 fronts as you asked for in the thread starting post. I am surprised though that no one has said anything about the fitment yet.
For your reference, in circumference, a 225/40-18 is .8% larger than the stock front, the 265/35-18 is 2.5% larger. Good Luck.
