good tire size for daily?

good tire size for daily?
so I got some new wheels, but when it comes to tire sizes I have no idea. What would be a good tire size to run on 17"x7.5" wheels. thank you for the help my s2k brothers and sisters

haha okay thank you! so i noticed the lettering on my tires now is zr16.. should i get z rated tires or whatever that means?.. im not too knowledgeable on car tires too much. im good under the hood sometimes but other than that not so much. this is my first s2000 so its a learning experience every vehicle before has been a truck or jeep

There is some incorrect info here. 225/45/17 is the correct tire size NOT 225/40/17 which is shorter than the stock diameter on AP2 OEM wheels and tires. Wider than 225 is doing to be to wide for those wheels. Those are also crappy wheel sizes to run on the car considering how narrow they are for the rear in particular. Again AP2 OEM wheel widths are generally a good benchmark to use when moving from AP1 16" wheels to 17's. As for what kind of tire we need to know more about your commute. Things like weather you have to drive in, temps etc. Daily driving in Phoenix AZ is way different than daily driving in Seattle WA in terms of the weather and temps you are dealing with and what type of tire will work best for you.
