Default Good A/S tire larger then 225/50R16

After searching tire rack, it seems the largest tire in 16" is a measly 225 size. Does anyone know of any good All season tires (its for winter temperature driving but no snow driving) that are larger then 225 in 16" diameter size?

I was hopeing a 255ish size possibly...

Thanks

I've got 245/50/16 kumho asx, but the 50 series sidewall is huge and a 245/45 or 245/40 would be much better (but of course they aren't offered.) Other than the asx and the sumitomo htr+ in 245/50/16 you're pretty much stuck with 225s.

Actually if you look at actual tire size some models of 225 are the same width size as a 245..

I would not go with the 245/50R16. They are almost a full inch taller than the stock rear tire and would throw off the anti lock brakes. Just stay with the 205/55R16 front and 225/50R16 rear. The Bridgestone RE960AS Pole Position is my favorite. They have very good handling in both wet and dry along with the snow traction as well. Wider would not be better for the winter anyway.
If I can help let me know.
