Front vs. Rear Tire wear?
I have 10k miles on the car & my rear tires look like they are getting near the tread bar while the fronts look great. Is it normal to have the rears wear so much faster than the fronts? If so, why? It's not like I am burning rubber with the car.

1) its a rear wheel drive car.
2) these tires are very soft (140 treadwear rating)
3) its a sports car
4) the rear end has more negative camber than the fronts, so if you are seeing belts/wearbars, make sure you are looking on the INSIDE OF THE TIRE TOO or else, you'll be blowing cords out the tires.
5) did I mention, its rear wheel drive? =)
Personally, my fronts and rears were gone at 8500 miles, and I streached them to 11500 (the rest being dry highway miles) before replacing them. Most will go through rear tires many times before replacing the fronts... its just another cost in having a sports car.
