Default Front tires before rear

I bought dunlop starspecs brand new, front and rear, the exact same time. I have almost worn down my front tires completely, while my rears are still in fairly good shape. On the inside, it is nearly bald, on the outside, it is getting there. The rear though, still in fair condition.

Anyone ever had that happen to them before, or seen someone else with the same results? I know exactly why it happened, but I never thought it could happen. I thought I would be able to wear front/rear evenly.

Depends on your alignment and how you drive the car.

Unlikely. As stated above: alignment.

I still thought I would cook the rear just as fast as the fronts, being a rwd car and all. My last set of tires I ate the rears much faster than the fronts, and everyone on average buys 2 sets of rears per 1 set of fronts.

Never had it happened. I'm part of that 2 rear sets to 1 front set group. Must be the alignment. You said you know why it happened, care to explain?

With normal driving and alignment, your rears should wear out quicker than your fronts. But it depends on your alignment and how you drive the car when you track it. Too much toe and camber in front can make the fronts wear quicker. If you track your car, your driving style may also wear out the fronts quicker or even with the rears.

I would put it mostly on the tail of the dragon trip. The roads there heat up the front tires much more than the rear, burning through them fast. I have only about 7k miles on the front tires

I have no toe in the front by the way.

This is the typical yes. How much camber you running up front? since your not running any toe.
