FN01R-C fitment and max tire width on stock susp.
Hello, I did some searching and found a lot of info but I still have a couple of questions. I'm looking at the 5Zigen FN01R-C Hot Version. The highest offsets I can find for our bolt pattern are as follows:
17x8 +43
17x9 +43
Going by the wheel fitment guide here I should be looking for 48-52 offset for the front with 215 tires and I should be looking for 45-49 offset for the rear with 245 tires. The offsets above fall a bit short. What would be required to make these rims fit? Would my handling be negatively affected by having slightly lower than recommended offsets?
Second question is simple: How wide a tire can I run on a stock suspension 2006 S2000? I'd love to go 225/255 if it doesn't require modification. In this case I know I'd have to scrap the FN01R-C idea and find something else.
Thanks!

You can actually make those "fit" with some Camber + Fender work. A good Roll/Pull in the rear with a Relocated bumper tab and some Camber can fit a 255 on that offset. The front will be fairly easy by comparison, but will also be a roll/pull + Camber. Depending on how low you go you won't need to add any camber yourself, the lowering should provide all the camber you need.
