Default fitment question

Looking at a set of lightly used prodrive wheels, 18x8 +51 all around. Would there be any fitment issues? Car is lowered on koni yellow and espelier asd springs. Also if i did pick these up I would want to put a spacer in the back to make the wheels sit a bit more flush correct? Thanks for the info guys.

I am running +50 in the front and +55 in the back. I am running CR size tires 215's and 255's. I would run 215 40 18 and a 245 35 18 on your non-staggered wheels. If you dont want to roll your fenders, then dont get spacers, they will lower offset. Making it harder to tuck the wheel and tire combo. Also you may have to add a little more negative camber. I would start with -1 front and -2 rear, which are UK S2000 Specs.

I have a concern going down to an 8" width on my back wheels, is it going to look lame? will the fitment be right?

Good question. I have a 2001, so I had 16's. 8" is half an inch wider than a stock ap1 rear. But the stock 17's are wider. So 8 will be narrower. It is up to you. I have seen other threads where guys are running all 18x8's with 225's on front and 255's on the rear. I suggested the other sizes because they will fit nicely and look good.

What do you plan on doing with the car? Cruising? They will be just fine. Auto-X? Track events? You may want to go with a more aggressive setup.

Just my opinion. Hope it helps....

I went to tirerack and ordered my setup, 7.5's & 8.5's. KZ-K's They were really inexpensive and look good.

right on, i would like to do some light tracking in the future. I will probably keep my ap2v2 so they could always be a tack set anyway.

No, all S2000's already have camber adjustment built in stock.
