Fitment issues if I lower on Swift Spec-R?
I'm wondering if I'm going to have rubbing issues and whether or not I can cure it with just some added negative camber.
Rims are 17x7.5 +45 front and 17x8 +48 rear, currently on stock 215/245 stagger (though I am considering 225/255 for my next set).
I don't rub right now on stock ride height except once in a blue moon on a very hard turn, and even then it is so brief I hardly notice. I'd like to get the Swift Spec-R springs (-1.2 inches all around) but if I have to do anything beyond camber I may stick with the Swift Sport Mach or something else higher instead.

I can only comment on the front fitment. I am currently running 17x7.5, +48 with a RS3 that is 225/45/17 and it rubs when I hit large dips. But I think I am only rubbing on the fender liner clips since the actualy liner shows no damage at all, only those clips. My car is lowered with tein flex coilovers, a little more than 1 finger gap. I plan on raising the ride height by another 1/4 inch and do a proper alignment to see if it will help with the rubbing. With the wheels you have listed, I think you will be rubbing a bit. Hope this helps.

yes, you will rub with that tire size. you will rub on rougher bumps and tight fast u turns. you need to do a roll and maybe not a tab relocate.
i used to have the same tire and wheel size combo when i first bought my car 5 years ago.
it will almost be a flush fitment but after you see that theres more space for wheel and tire to close the gap, you will want to go wider. trust me, you will want to do it. i do miss my sa3rv2 but i don't miss the sizes.
