Default Fitment Help.

I was thinking about going back to 17's. I was seeing if this would fit without major fender work.

17x8 +42 215/45/17
17x9 +37 245/40/17

I'm not lowered yet but I will try to get a nice 2" to 2.5" drop to get rid of the gap. I'm pretty sure I would need to roll my fenders but will I have to remount the rear bumper tabs or pull out the fender at all? And I'm not sure if I wanna do a huge negative camber. Would I be able to get away with a -2 in the back?

Thanks for the help.

Yes to the pull and bumper tab relocate. 2" drop will get you to -2* of camber with oem hardware. I'd say to run a bit more than that though. PM silentdancer, he is king (imho) of low offset, stock body.

How hard would it be to try a 17x9 +27 to fit in the rear? Could the oem hardware give me enough camber to make it sit flush?

1) Roll your fenders x4

2) Relocate your rear bumper tab

3) Trim your rear bumper

4) Kick in the negative camber

A 9+ 27 will not work unless you stretch a 235 on the wheel which is something I would not suggest for the rear, as well as running an extreme amount of negative camber. Just a thought
