Default Finally: mounted Work VS Edition

Finally after months having these sit in my room, I got them mounted this past weekend:

Work VS Edition, 17 x 8 front (215/45/17), 17 x 9 (235/40/17) rear, dropped on Skunk2's

+47 all around. Always been a fan of mesh-style wheels.

Why'd you go w/ a 235 instead of 245? Any noticeable difference in handling?

I didn't want the tire to "bubble" out over the edge of the rim. The rear end definitely feels stickier. I can push around the corners w/o feeling like the back will kick out.

These wheels are wider than stock AP2 wheels...245 comes standard and definitely do not "bubble" over. If anything 245 on a 17x9 would be a bit stretched.

Not arguing or anything, just getting a discussion going as I am considering a set of 17x8 17x9 +45 wheels in the future.

It's all good. The 235 don't have any stretch that I notice. Running 215's on the 17 x 8 definitely does. I like that fact that I didn't mod anything to fit: no spacers, no rubbing, no relocating tabs, etc. Just mount, tighten, and drive.
