Just for comparison, on my stock AP2 V1 rims, I have 255/40/17 on rears with no rubbing issues at all. I believe their 8.5 as well.

Your offset is much higher with stock wheels as well.

Back from the dead, same boat as the OP, but with a different question, Performance. is there a noticeable + or - difference when you go to 255 from 245? i'm on stock AP2v1. and no i don't track my car, just hard street driving.

No.

Further explanation: for street driving / spirited mountain driving you're not going to have a noticeable difference between the 2. That being said, I like the way 225 / 255 looks on the stock wheels.
