Extra Set of AP1 Rims & Wheels
Hi All,
Have an extra set of AP1 MY2002 rims and tires that I'm not sure what to do with. The rims have clear coat coming off in some spots, but have no curb rash, dents, dings, etc. The tires were installed by the dealer that I purchased the car from and are Fusion Touring [Bridgestone house brand] with less than 1,000 miles on them. I recently upgraded to a better set of OEM AP1 rims, which also had new tires on them. Don't need extra rims/tires for winter driving since I live in SE North Carolina.
These are the options I have considered for the extra set of rims/tires, i.e., the rims with the clear coat coming off:
1. Keep the extra rims/tires and periodically put them on the car. Concern here is that I put less than 2k miles on the car a year and the tires will probably dry rot before they wear out.
2. Sell them, but I doubt most S2K owners would be interested in rims with clear coat coming off in spots.
3. Paint them a different color to periodically give the S2K a different look. Wife doesn't like this idea.
Any input, suggestions and recommendations would be welcome. Thanks in advance.

Edit/Update 3/30/2015: Sold rims and tires locally for $345.
