Expected life of RA-1/NT01....
In a generalized sense, how many lapping days can one expect from the Toyo RA1 or Nitto NT01 unshaved? Best guesses appreciated!

That's a bit too general of a question but the RA-1s will give you around 3-4 track days assuming around 20 laps (per day) on an average track of around 3 miles (5kms) in length. It would also depend on whether the track is tight or open. This is assuming you don't drive on the RA-1s daily on the street. Daily wear will wear out the rears in 10,000 miles or less and with 2 track days in 6 months.
Haven't used the Nittos so can't comment but the RA-1s are pretty good on the street as well as they don't require a lot of time to warm up and have decent grip when cold unlike other track tyres.

I ran both before, the grip on the nt01 is incredible, i would say they are faster than the ra1. Nt01 wears out faster though. Seems like I can get 4-5 track day with nt01 and 7-8 track day with ra1.
