Default Ever get a new tire mounted without balance weights?

3 of my 4 new volk wheels had weights attached after getting a set of yokohamas mounted. 1 wheel did not have any at all. Is this normal? I thought every rim/tire had to have at least 1 weight.

If they are balanced they won't need weights.

I agree. When I had Racing Hart CPO-35's on my civic, I mounted some yokohama a-520's and only 1 wheel needed a .25 oz.

Just had new Goodyear GS-D3's mounted on new Volks.

Little to no weights required ... installer said the more expensive the tire or wheel the better the construction and therefore very little correction needed.
