If you send me a brake drawing/template I would be able to tell for sure.

there was a guy stating on here that his 17x9 +45 did not clear the spoon. i would suggest running a lower offset like a +35 but just going with a narrower wheel.

What rim width?

My 17x8 +45 just barely clears my Greddy calipers with no spacers. I can't imagine the spoons are much bigger (or bigger at all). So even if the spoons are slightly bigger, you could probably get away with a small spacer. The 17x9 +45 will definitely not clear.

you have to remember that offsets are not based on wheel width. its measured from the center of the wheel outwards. so the +48 will not work unless you put in a spacer

I think it will probably clear or worse case need only a small spacer. RPF1's have drastically different faces. Like has been stated, a 8" +45 (curved) has way more brake clearance than a 9" +45 (flat) because of the spoke difference. I believe the 7.5" +48 has the curved spokes so there is a lot of room, but I can't confirm that they will 100% clear.

^correct, the concave 17x9 +45 RPF1 will not clear BBK's without serious spacer action
