Yea but just remember you don't get F1 quality on $1000 street wheels. We need to compare apples to apples here...

And my '06 stock wheels. Are all AP2 wheels Enkei?
Yeah my MY07 stocks are enkei's. All s2000 wheels, even the new cr wheels are made by enkei's! Shit i even have RPF1's on my S now. You prob aren't to fond of enkei cause they aren't the jdm ballin brand that everyone wants, but i think they are great, strong, light, and serve a great deal prefomace when put on the S(RPF1'S)!!!

Just my 2 Cents

Dude not trying to bash but look at HRE and I-forged Same product Different totally different price. The only reason Enekis aren't that expensive is because they aren't forged alm. or 2-3 piece wheels but none the less still a great wheel

Some of the wheels made by Enkei are forged and 2 piece. We handle the TR Motorsport F3 and it is forged and it is two piece. Not all of their wheels are made this way but neither are all the BBS or OZ Racing wheels.

I though the TRF3 were forged monoblock type wheels? So they are forged two piece, welded wheels? They certainly look like monoblock type wheels.

GTC 01 = badass

and I owned a set of RS7's on my last car for 3 years . . . they were fairly light, durable, I never had a single problem with them

You know - a couple years ago Enkeis would have been laughed at on an S2000 - since the RPF1s came out, it seems they're getting tossed around with the likes of Volk and Work. Whats going on here? I know they're light, but am I completely off the mark or is this company completely turning its image around?

I am used to crap like this - easily found on your neighborhood ricer:

So what do ya'll think? Whats the deal on Enkei wheels.
Enkei has been making wheels longer than most of us have been alive.

They make OEM wheels for practically every Honda, Nissan, etc..

Enkei also made most of the Sprint Hart wheels. They made all of the Mugen wheels.

This company only has this "image" because people don't do their homework and only go by what they see.

They haven't turned their image around, they're just a company that tends to all markets, and reaps the benefits.
