You seem to have your opinion set, why start a thread? If you want my opionion I think they make good wheels. Just cause they have a variety of wheels in different pricing brackets doesen't make them "Kmart wheels" and "bottom of the barrel"

You should read up on them.

Don't get so booty hurt - the whole idea behind starting this thread - any thread - is to start a discussion. Thanks for your input, it was good reading.

So the consensus is they make some cheap/ricey stuff (Enkei Performance Series) and some race related stuff (Racing Series).

They made the factory wheel for the Mclaren road car/LM car as well as Mclaren's F1 wheels. If its good enough for F1, its certainly good enough for an S2000.

I thought OZ made the wheels on the McLaren?

Can you please post where you found the information about Enkei making the wheels for McLaren?

Understood - but where did you see that Enkei made the McLaren F1 wheels, road car or otherwise?

I remember hearing it back when the car came out. I can't direct you to a specific citation without doing some internet searching, and I dont really have time to do that at work. Run a google search, I am sure the answer is out there on the web.

It also stands to reason since Enkei has a contract with them to manufacture their Formula 1 team's wheels.

http://www.mclaren.com/f1season/facts.php

"take 160 Enkei wheel rims to each race "

If it's good enough for F1, it's fine by me

Yea but just remember you don't get F1 quality on $1000 street wheels. We need to compare apples to apples here...
