Enkei Wheels - crap or good?
You know - a couple years ago Enkeis would have been laughed at on an S2000 - since the RPF1s came out, it seems they're getting tossed around with the likes of Volk and Work. Whats going on here? I know they're light, but am I completely off the mark or is this company completely turning its image around?
I am used to crap like this - easily found on your neighborhood ricer:
So what do ya'll think? Whats the deal on Enkei wheels.

I am aware that Enkei and BBS made the AP1 wheels...
OEM aside (Evo, etc), Enkei has always been seen as a "Kmart" wheel brand - bottom of the barrel, JC Whitney parts catalouge 100-150/wheel ricer stuff, but now you can find some 350+/Wheels from them. Has it always been this way? How do ya'll feel about Enkeis..

[QUOTE=F20_C,Oct 6 2007, 05:22 PM] You seem to have your opinion set, why start a thread? If you want my opionion I think they make good wheels. Just cause they have a variety of wheels in different pricing brackets doesen't make them "Kmart wheels" and "bottom of the barrel"

Enkei has a variety of wheel lines out...your thinking of the wheels you see in the discount tire ads in the front of the magazine going for $500 a set with tires. Then there is the racing series whic h are high quality wheels that every form of motorsports use.
