Default Enkei RPF1 tire sizes

Hey Everyone,

I'm thinking about picking up the following wheels from tire rack;

Enkei RPF1

Front: 17 x 7.5 48mm offset
Rear: 17 x 9 45mm offset

If I roll my fenders, do you think it would be possible to squeeze on the following tire sizes?

235/45 17 - front
255/40 17 - rear

I'm looking at picking up REO1R's for next season. I used them on my stock wheels this season for autox and liked them. I want to stay in my local clubs 'street tire' index but would like to run wider wheels/tires next year. Any info would help.

Thanks,
Conebarron

I have always sold that wheel with the 215/45R17 and 245/40R17 rear. With some fender lip rolling and negative camber you should be able to tuck the tire in.

i know im bringing a thread back to life, but im looking at getting some new tires for my enki rpf1's

i have an 06 with stock suspension and the wheels are 17x8 and 17x9 with a +45 on both

right now i have a set of hancook's with 215s in the front and 245s in the rear, i wanted to put the largest tire i could without modifying the cars suspension or fenders.

how big can i go without rubbing?

I was wondering the same... same exact wheels (to buy soon), except I'd go for 225/45R17 & 255/40R17 Toyo R888s. Would those fit??
Bone stock suspension.

So with these wheels even 215 and 245, you need to do fender mods?

Looks like I may need to look at something else where I don't have to do any modding or extra camber.....
