Default Enkei RPF1 Fitment Help!

Hey guys, I just ordered my Bright Silver Enkei Rpf1s 17 x 9 +45 all around. I was wondering if its a bad idea to run a 225 tire up front on a 9 inch wheel. Idealy my set up will be 225/45/17 front and 255/40/17 rear.

If not, then how much fender work needs to be done to run 245/40/17 all around, I know the rears should be fine, but what all to the front? Also, I'm dropped 1.25" all around

I'm running 225/45, 255/40. It's a stretch on the front but not extreme or unsafe. Really it comes down to how much work you are willing to do and if you really want non-staggered tires or not.

Why did you get non staggered wheels if you want to run non staggered tires?

Just do 245/40/17's all around and roll the fenders in front with about -2 degrees of camber.

simple the stretched tire will have sharper turn in characteristics on the front while the rear will flex for traction you will lose ride quality and under steer over the limit but you can use less camber.

Simple...a stretched tire is not safe by any means. Buy tires that fit your wheels.

lol thanks for the commentary captain obvious btw star specs and other 215 width tires have a recommended range of 7-8.5 inches and extra half inch won't lead to the Apocalypse.
