Default Enkei rpf1 fitment

Hi,I am considering getting enkei rpf1 to clear Essex ap racing bbk. Understand that 17x8 +45 clearance is tight and will require 2-3mm spacers. So if I get 17x8 offset +35, I should be getting an extra 10mm clearance. Anyone knows if the offset +35 rpf1 spokes are concave in design and that would affect clearance?

I believe that is correct. The spokes don't concave until you reach a wheel width of 9", not dependent on offset. As long as you stick with the 8" in front you should be fine.

You have the option of 8.5" +40 as well which may be a better fit depending on the size tires you want to run. These are convex for bbk.

That is correct about 9" moving to the concave face.

Is it ok to run 225/45/17 on 8.5" rims?
The 8.5" offset +40 seems to be a gd choice if I want to run wider tires next time. Anyone else can confirm this size will clear bbk?

Yes this rim will more then accommodate that size tire, 245 will be a square profile on this rim so that is doable as well give the proper fender mod and camber adj.
