You can probably go with a little less camber.

In those photos, I was running Falken RT-615s 215/235. Their tires run a little wider than others so I am not losing much if any tread width between from other brands.

I hate to whore my pics around but in this case, it is relevant.

i have a comfortable 2 finger (index and middle fingers) on both the front and rear. i am running -2.5 camber in the rear, but i cant remember my front. its the uk spec alignment.
would i be fine to get those rims? im not as low as you are. the rims in the pick are the 17x8 and 17x9 right?
also, where did you get those center caps?

The offsets are not ideal for the S2000 but if you are willing to make them work, you can.

I won't bear the responsibility of advising you on whether or not to purchase a particular set of wheels but I will say that you can make them work fairly easily.

Regarding the centercaps, I designed them and had them machined.

a safer 17x7.5 +48 is available for those who are worried about their fronts.

I have the UK spec alignment and i run the x8/x9 +45 and i'm fine. Just had to roll the rears. look at the pic in my sig to see how low i am. i dont have problems of the fronts eating up my fenders on driveways either...i run 215 front and 255 rears on RT615 tires.

It only takes one mistake. The potential for a problem is always there unless your front fenders are rolled.
