Enkei RFP1 for AP2 OEM size tires
Dear All,
i'm thinking to replace my 2007 OEM rims.
i can only use stock OEM tire sizes (our MOT doesn't allow non OEM tires size).
so i have to stick with 215/245 staggered tires.
i would like to check whether RFP1 will fit good.
i don't want to roll fenders or use spacers.
of course i don't want to rub.
my S is lowered ~1.1" and i use ~2 degr cambers at all wheels.
it used mostly for spirited driving and auto-x.
i see wheels firment guide says:
Front: +48 to +52 offset: 215 tires, 7.0" - 8.0" wide wheel
Rear: +45 to +49 offset: 245 tires, 7.5" - 9.0" wide wheel
i see at Enkei's site they have:
7.5" et48 at F1 Silver color
9" et45 at 15.9 color
so will it work for me?
the reason i want to reconfirm this becuase i saw countless remarks that RFP1's fit S badly.
thanks in advance,
Gennady

I can say from personal experience that they will fit perfectly at that height. You may get some rubbing on the rear fender tabs but relocating them is an easy fix. I am currently running these wheels w/tires in those specs lowered on Tein S techs. I have Buddy Club N+ coilovers on the way.

this is good news
so no fender rolling or other complications? (except those tbas as you say)
are yours Silver of Gold?
i really would like Gold but i'm not sure it even exists for RFP1's at those dimensions...

I've got black ones. I had a set of silver ones but just sold them. I did have the rear fenders rolled before I ever got either set, but after looking at it I don't think the fenders would have been an issue.

17 x 7.5 up front (great looks + handling)
17 x 9 rear (great looks + grip btw)
should have no rubbing issues, its stock tires.
^
friend offset his car with these specs, but his isnt lowered like yours.... he plans to lower it on some stechs.
and i would go with some Sliver RPF1's looks good with the suzuka blue im actually ordering some RPF1's aswell and dont know what To do with the offset aswell!! ill probably go with 17 x 7.5 and 17.9 which btw is the max offset with your stock tires.
get back to me with what you end up doing!

Okay bad news!!
Friend did roll his fenders to fit the 17x9 and said 100% they will rub.... His paint cracked n it ended up being pricey!
17x7.5 is str8 thou!
I have decided to stick with 17x7 and 17x8.5 so stock fit
which is designed for the car + let's me lower the f@#k outta it and do whatever to the suspension no problems..
Goodluck with whatever you do I didn't know this offsetting bussiness was so crazy it doesn't even do much for the car.

If done right by a professional, rolling will not cause the paint to crack. Inadequate heating and/or rolling too much too fast will cause the paint to crack. I have my S and my TSX done both without issues.
