Dunlop SPSport 5000's
Well just went to my first autocross in my S and I have a few things to say:
1. Driving the S was unlike any other car i've ever driven. I am always used to driving a SM Civic. The FWD is somewhat predictable when compared to the RWD S. I like being able to slide the rear end around!!
2. The Dunlop tires are horrible. Even though I was able to get better times than the other S's, I think I could have gone a lot faster and with more control.
3. I have great footage of in car video. Lemme see how I can post these videos.

ouch! I'm really sorry you chose the SP5000's. I've driven on these in a Miata and they are just horrible. They were out of SP8000's and couldn't get in SP9000's at the time, and the SP5000's aren't even in the same ballpark as those two tires. Hopefully next time you'll do a lot better, with better tread that the SP5000's which don't stick and seem to chunk away.

The problem is you picked the wrong tire for your application. The Dunlop Sp5000 is an excellent handling performance all season tire but they are not intended for racing. If you lived in an area with snow and you wanted one set of tires for year round it would be the tire I would recommend. Throw in the racing and it is not a good choice.
