Default Do AP1 wheels (no tires) fit inside an S2000?

I'm looking to pick up some AP1 wheels to put winter tires on but I need to go pick them up and would prefer to do so without borrowing a car. I was thinking the rears should fit in the trunk and the fronts could sit on the front seat (wrapped in moving blankets to not damage the interior). Has anybody done this before? Am I crazy lol

Off to go measure the trunk and passenger seat.

I'm pretty sure they will fit after looking at it.

uhaul ends up being around $35, if I had the tires I would probably do that but I'm still shopping for tires.

I've fit a full set of tires in the car before. Trunk was tied shut and tires stuck up over the windshield, but that's why the top goes down, right? It was a short drive back to the shop I work at to mount them anyway.

When I bought my set of new wheels, i hauled them all on my car keeping them in box. i had put 1 wheel box squeezed in to my trunk and tetris'ed other three in my passenger seat. i could've tried closing the top but the shop was too close for me to close the top anyway. i hauled same ap1 stockies with no tire by the same way, also boxed(used the aftermarket box because aftermarket was 16")

Hope that clears your concern. So without a box, they should be an easy fit. Just be careful not to scratch any interior stuff if it isn't boxed.

*oh and the trunk was closed with no tying or anything. I did not use any kind of rope or other measures other than just putting it in to the car.

remove everything in your trunk- spare, trunk bottom stuff, spare tire cover. Leave the regular trim in. should be ok.

I've gone to the track with one AP1wheel with tire in the trunk and the other three on the passenger seat, with the top up. I think you should be able to fit four AP1 wheels in the car without too much difficulty...

Yes, I have done this (actually JDM BBS but they are the same size).

One rear in the boot, one front on the floor of the passenger side (though there is more room on a RHD car) and the other two on the passenger seat buckled in IIRC.
