Did TireRack ship wrong tires?
This is a question for Jim...I've posted it here so all can see the answer.
I ordered a set of 4 S-02s...they arrived in Canada fine after 5 business days, but after specificially requesting the OEMs both front and rear (we talked last week before I ordered them) it appears that I may have received non-OEMs.
In our telephone discussion, you had indicated the OEM sidewalls should read:
205/55/WR16 89W front
225/50/W16 92W rear
The tires I received are:
205/55/R16 89W front
225/50/R16 92W rear
You also said theat the OEMs would be stamped ESO25C and the tires I got are stamped ESO2JZ.
So...even after ordering through you, these appear to be the wrong tires. What say you?

check this....
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.jsp?mak...el=Potenza+S-02
per the link, there is no "R16" S0-2 in stock sizes.....only "WR16" or "ZR16".....
the link doesn't mention the "stamp" notation, either.....

I spoke with Jim this morning...
I'm reasonably assured that the tires are correct, although the sidewall markings are NOT 205/55/WR16 and 225/50/WR16 as ongoing discussions in this forum would lead a buyer to expect; rather they are 205/55/R16 and 225/50/R16. (The invoice from Tire Rack is also inconsistent with the actual tires.) After the sizing info is the load and speed rating info...89W up front and 92W at the rear...the W speed rating indicates that they're the OEMs.
Further evidence that they are correct is that unmounted, the width of the rears is around 245mm +- 3mm (using the "eyeball on the ruler" measurement method) , not the 225mm that would be expected for the non-OEMs.
