Desirable Wheel Size, Offset, and Color
I'm curious as to what people are looking for in terms of wheel fitment and color. I have Volk CE28N in 17x10 +44 and they feel just right for the car. Maybe a +47 would have worked better in my favor, but overall great. Let's see what you got!
Diameter (F/R): 17" / 17"
Width (F/R): 10" / 10"
Offset (F/R): +44 / +44
Tire Size (F/R): 255/40/17 | 255/40/17
Color: Formula Silver
BBK Clearance: Yes
Forged/Cast: Forged
Application: Street & Track
Diameter (F/R): 17" / 17"
Width (F/R): 10" / 10"
Offset (F/R): +44 / +44

I was under the impress only the 17x9.5j CEs came in +47. i was talking to tipton80 about this earlier today.
10+44 is highly sought after for its BBK fitment. its too much poke for my taste on the front. but people really prefer the face of the 10+45 non-bbk fitment wheel.
i personally would love to run concave face CE28Ns but i can't swing it with a baby on the way.
what i'd love to see is a face chart for CEs, 17 and 18" diameter that specifies which face is on which wheel width and offset.
how much work did you have to do in the front to make it fit? are you running a bbk?
as far as colors? bronze is really hot right now. has been for a while. i dig the highlighter orange too on the right car (but thats just me).
there was another guy from Turkey on here that was fitted on 18" CEs but his were only 8j and +40. but they did have a very nice face. not concave but the flat one. custom color too.

Diameter (F/R): 17" / 17"
Width (F/R): 7.5" / 9"
Offset (F/R): +50 / +63

Color: Bronze
BBK Clearance: No
Forged/Cast: Forged
Application: Street
Mine are the s2k spec ce28n's in bronze. They're simple and look good, most importantly I don't have to alter the fenders at all. Just what I'm looking for in terms of aftermarket wheels.

After running the 10" setup for some time, I think the 9.5" is actually a pretty good compromise. I am considering having a set of custom wheels made by a forged wheel manufacturer in Japan that makes wheels for F1 and Super GT. Going to need 5 sets to start the order though. What offset seems to be a good setup? I like the +47 on the CE28N, but since my fenders are slightly pulled, I think I can do a +40 now.

+47 is still better. I'd say the best happy medium for running wide wheels on this car are +45 to +50. They allow for BBK clearance, and aren't too much of a pain to get to fit inside the fenders. Once you start dropping below +42, things start getting a bit more difficult, especially with anything wider than 9".
If you go too high up, like +55, then you need some super flat spoke design (which people don't like) to fit a BBK. Additionally, a 10" wide wheel at +52 or higher is likely to rub the a-arm at full lock.

For example/
9.5" +60 up front to accommodate a 245 or 255 as well as a BBK fitment if needed.
11" +65 with 285 or 295 as an option for the rear.
These would be 18" of course.
On a lowered car 1.5-2", these fitments have no inner or outer rubbing issues on control arms at full lock or fenders, provided you have the proper alignment and rolled fenders front and rear with bumper tab relocate, that’s it.

^^^ At those high offsets and width, you'll get rubbing inside the fender under hard cornering.
With 17x9 +48, I actually get a tiny bit of rubbing on the inner upper fender right next to where my engine bay is located. It's enough to burn through the fender liner at that point.
There are plenty of wide options in 18" in decent offsets. Enkei makes a lot of their wheels in 18x9.5 +45.
